# Server finder

The Server Finder function in hostware allows you to manually select and provision products from a module. This function was specially designed to offer dedicated servers, for example, which are only built to order.

## Enable the Server-Finder

To activate the server finder for a product, no module may be selected. Only then will the "Server Finder" section become visible at the bottom and can be selected.

## Provision an order

When an order is placed, hostware marks it for manual activation. You can see all the details and the product the customer has ordered. Now build the server and set it up as desired.

Once the product has been built/made available, you can activate the item using the "Activate item" button. All available servers for the configured product are now displayed. You can use the search function to search for the host name, for example.

Once the location has been selected, the installation routine will start as usual. From this point on, the product will be treated like a normal hosting service.
