# Customer groups

Customer groups can be useful for distinguishing your customers from one another. They allow you to set discounts for the customer and/or highlight the customer in color, e.g. in support tickets, etc.

## Create customer group

To create a customer group, configure the name, color and discounts per category for the group. You can also specify whether the discount should be compatible with other, regular, discounts or not.

Since v1.0.5, you can also define a collective invoice profile and a priority. As customers can now contain several customer groups, the customer group with the highest priority always wins the collective invoice.
