# Support tickets

### Monthly ticket limit

We can set the number of tickets per month a customer can open at the edit customer page, under the "Tickets" tab.
As you can see from the picture, you can choose to ignore ticket limit for the current month, which when checked, this customer will have no limit for creating tickets in the current month. This option gets deactivated automatically by Hostware at the beginning of each month.\
If it is set to 0 or it is not set at all, the system treats the number of tickets for this customer as unlimited.

You can also set the number of tickets per month a product gives to a customer, when you go to product edit page at General tab.
Every customer that has purchased this product will then be increased the number of tickets per month as specified here at this setting.

#### Example

* The base limit for customer is set to be 2
* Active product with 5 tickets per month
* Active product with 8 tickets per month

This customer will be able to open **15 tickets per month** total (2 + 5 + 8)

Keep in mind that if the base limit for customer is set as 0 or null, the system still treats that customer like he has unlimited number of tickets, even if he has purchased products that has ticket limit defined.
